Having earned a B.F.A. in film and worked as a film-trailer editor later on, Leeorah Betan-Hartman decided to eventually turn her lifelong-passion and hobby, jewelry making, into a full-time career. Based in Brooklyn, New York, Lulu & Shay channels the designer’s inspiration in natural surroundings, incorporating the storytelling nature of filmmaking into handcrafted, hand-carved pieces.
